Singaraja Literary Festival (SLF) is a celebration of culture and literacy dedicated to reviving the rich literary heritage and intellectual traditions of Singaraja. Centered at Gedong Kirtya, Bali’s first lontar manuscript library, SLF blends art, research, and tradition through workshops, performances, exhibitions, and discussions.

Why SLF?

Once the capital of the Lesser Sunda Islands, Singaraja has a long history as a center of intellectual and cultural development. From Buleleng Harbor, a historic gateway for trade, to Gedong Kirtya, home to ancient manuscripts, Singaraja remains a testament to the nation’s evolving culture and literacy.
